Our concept

Hello,

We are Gilles and Clément, co-founders of Links Social Wear. Thank you for your interest in our project.

Born in Lausanne, Switzerland, we have been passionate about sports since childhood. We were around 20 years old when we discovered golf. Over the years we have had many golf weekends and outings with friends. For us, it is above all a social adventure.

The golf courses are often located in beautiful places, surrounded by nature. We were struck by the mismatch between the places in which we play - and the pleasure we derive from it - and the clothes worn, made of synthetic materials by big brands in factories of which we know nothing. Lovers of craftsmanship and local know-how, we searched for golf clothing that matched our criteria, without success.

We have therefore decided to launch Links Social Wear in 2021 in order to create and distribute quality golf clothing, made in Europe, as much as possible using natural fibers and for a fair price. It is made to last and accompany you on and off the course for years to come. It is the result of a collaboration with craftsmen and factories across Switzerland and Europe.

The project has been designed around European production, ecology and reasonable consumption. Our polo shirts have been designed in St. Gallen and are made from natural fibers of European origin. The fabric is knitted in northern Italy, in Biella. The polo shirts are produced in Portugal, in the region of Porto. The factory is not only GOTS certified but also powered exclusively by energy from renewable sources and supported by the European Regional Development Fund.

Our packaging and labels are kept to a minimum, and those that accompany our products are recycled. Our clothes are wrapped in tissue paper made from German grass and wood. The cards that come with the polo shirts are produced in Renens from completely recycled Swiss paper.

We also work with Almighty Tree, to whom we donate 2% of our turnover to plant trees in Switzerland.

We are constantly working to reduce the ecological footprint of our production, and communicate as transparently as possible about our products. You can find more detailed information on their respective pages.

We would like to offer you the opportunity to consume less, but better.
