Thank you for visiting Links Social Wear Sàrl (Links, us, we, our)’s website and for your interest in our project.
Information handling
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect personal information you share with us such as your name, address and email address as well as your shopping preferences (fit, size, product color). These are required on the one hand for us to process your order and on the other hand for us to manage our stock and optimize upcoming production.
When you browse our website, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to learn about your browser and operating system.
If you decide to opt in, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.
Consent
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, process your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, you consent to us collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will ask you directly for your expressed consent.
If after you opt in you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent at any time. Upon receipt of your request for withdrawal and within a reasonable processing time, we will no longer contact you, collect, use or disclose your information. Disclosure
If we are required by law to do so (such as in the case of a court decision), we may disclose your personal information. This could also happen if you violate our terms and conditions.
Squarespace
Our store is hosted on Squarespace. They provide us with the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Squarespace’s data storage system. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Stripe and other third-party services
In general, third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment interface providers, have their own privacy policies regarding the information we have to provide them with in order to process transactions. We recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand how they will handle your personal information.
In particular, please bear in mind that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

Payment is processed via our partner Stripe’s secured platform (Stripe, 185 Berry Street, Suite 550, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), or via direct bank transfer.
We will save and keep data related to orders placed on our website.

When you click on links on our website, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.
Security
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
If you use a credit card to pay on our website, this information goes directly to Stripe. Squarespace does not have access to this information. It is encrypted using transport layer security (TLS) and stored with AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, Stripe is certified PCI Service Provider Level 1, which is the most stringent level of certification available in the payment industry.

Links reserves the right to alter the present privacy policy at any time and without notice (in particular for the sake of our dear customers’ inboxes).
